China tests millions after coronavirus flare-ups in 3 cities

China has resorted to its heavy, top-down approach each time new cases of local transmission are found — shutting down schools and hospitals, locking down residential communities and entire neighborhoods, and testing millions.

Tianjin authorities shut down a kindergarten and moved all the teachers, family and students to a centralized quarantine space. They also sealed the residential compound where the five cases were found.

A worker for UPS at Pudong airport said one of those who tested positive earlier in the month had visited her office. Since then, her company has asked employees to quarantine themselves in the office and were forbidden to leave for four days, unless they signed an agreement to quarantine themselves at home for two weeks, she said, declining to be named out of fear of retaliation. She said she had been sleeping at the office since Friday, but was able to leave Monday.

This can’t be true. We were told for months and month by the MSM how China handled Covid so well.

Reading the article it is horrifying the extent they go to, to stop the spread. They still trap people in their housing compounds! And according to the article they do this all over a few cases.

I will say it again, what do they know that we don’t know? Why are they playing for ZERO? Zero isn’t going to protect your people long-term. If China is going to remain a global exporter etc., ZERO fails.

Look, a good portion of China is north of the critical 37° North Latitude, where people between late all to early spring don't get enough natural sun exposure to get enough "natural" Vitamin D. This includes the capital Beijing, parts of Xinjiang Autonomous Region and all of northeastern China. That, plus, very close living conditions and decades of poor pulmonary health from coal-fired power plant pollutant exposure and way too much cigarette smoking, explains why the CCP is WAY under-reporting COVID-19 cases "officially."
