Maryland is just greater Washington DC and this PoS “Republican” governor knows what he has to do to survive.

Republican office holders have no respect for Trump.

They've gotten used to the 20% who voted for Perot in 1992 voting for them as "the lesser of two evils" for the last 25 years.

I suspect that's going to change if they help torpedo President Trump...

#2. Hogan is a “legend” in his own mind. Personal promotion and aggrandizement instead of real action.

Maryland politicians are so corrupt and incompetent (both parties) that my dead cats could do a better job of running the state than they are.

PS: The first Maryland politician of statewide stature I met was Mayor (and onetime governor) Theodore McKeldin (back in the 50’s. My mother and her brother were on Mayor Schaeffer’s Commission for the Fine Arts (Music and Art museums). I knew people in Jack Pollack’s political machine in NW Baltimore, and my wife once worked for VP Spiro Agnew. I just unofficially worked with Baltimore PD on several murder cases and my cousin was a noted public defender attorney there, plus the head of my Boys Club, the Lancers, was a highly regard civil and criminal court judge.

Judge Meyer Cardin (the father of mushbrain Sen. Ben Cardin) lived up the street, and one of my high school teammates was in the State Legislature for years.

Singing, “Sources, I’ve got sources”!!!

Baltimore sucks. Maryland is on a downward roll and parts of it will take decades to recover if there are any small businessmen/women left to rebuild it. Why rebuild in a Marxist-oriented, pro-criminal shithole city? Only the rich may be able to sustain a good lifestyle, until crime moves into those neighborhoods. In the old days, criminals knew to stay away from certain neighborhoods because they would meet armed resistance and a darn good police force who would take them down.

Today, you are on your own in most places. Even Baltimore County is heading downward and may never recover.

The Republican Party has a death wish, which Trump voters will be happy to enable for them.

When the Trump voters turn their backs on Republicans, and sit it out, the Democrats won’t even need to fraud to blow them away.
