In recent months, Germany has become the epicenter of Europe's anti-lockdown movement, as thousands of people have been taking to the streets to defy social distancing measures and mask mandates.

The anti-lockdown protesters, who include conspiracy theorists, far-right extremists, anti-vaxxers, and coronavirus skeptics, have united to accuse German lawmakers of triggering unnecessary panic and infringing on civil liberties.

Experts also worry that the movement is becoming increasingly radical. Most of QAnon's European followers are largely based in Germany, and more demonstrators at anti-lockdown protests are seen waving Q flags.

QAnon advocates claim that the US is secretly controlled by a cabal of politicians, celebrities, and media figures who engage in child abuse and pedophilia and that President Donald Trump will eventually move against these people. Its believers seek clues from an unknown government insider known as Q. There is no evidence to support the theory, and none of its foretold reckonings have taken place.

I actually don't know very much about this Qanon stuff but it smells badly of a leftist concoction designed to make the Right look like a bunch of conspiracy kooks, by mixing legitimately incriminating cases verses the Left with absolutely insane ones, such as underground aliens and "reptile-like" people. It would be just the sort of thing the left would do and has done throughout the decades.

A popular tech reporter who wrote about Microsoft was arrested for allegedly soliciting sex with children online, according to a complaint filed in May.

Peter Bright sought to molest a 7- and 9-year-old and was later arrested after meeting with an undercover agent to facilitate the action, the federal complaint alleges. Bright, who formerly worked for tech outlet Ars Technica, claimed to be in a sexual relationship with an 11-year-old.

An undercover FBI special agent contacted Bright in April on KinkD, a social media fetish platform, according to the document, which was filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. The agent informed Bright that she had a 7-year-old daughter and 9-year-old son. He reportedly discussed the possibility of molesting the 7-year-old.

The complaint alleges that Bright, who is currently being held without bail, discussed ways of training the children. "I'm thinking maybe something involving foreskin is the way to start," he allegedly told the agent. Bright also claimed to have molested an 11-year-old girl, the complaint alleges.

"I have a girl I've been teaching off and on for a couple of months now," he reportedly wrote. "But she's in the Bronx, which makes the logistics much harder." Bright also told the agent that "masturbation and, [sic] anal sex are probably my favorite subjects. Helping girls find those special places to touch, it's very rewarding."

Bright was arrested on May 22 upon meeting the agent. The federal inmate database shows that a man named Peter Bright is currently being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, The Daily Dot reported Saturday.

The post did not sit well with some on social media. Many said the tweet was clearly self-serving and an effort to remind supporters of his Obama connection.
