Oy no thanks. I use a tbls. of seeds too. Learned long ago that more than that makes way too many sprouts for us so measure always. I just do alfalfa. Have done broccoli in the past and when our daughter was little I did a lot of green lentils. She would climb up on a chair and dig her hand in like a cookie jar.

This is very similar to what I have, it sits in the jar just like that and when you rinse the sprouts and the pour the water out the drain screen keeps the sprouts away from the opening. I won't start until next month so my stuff is downstairs. Too lazy to take a picture of mine so I swiped this one from the internet. :O
