This is very similar to what I have, it sits in the jar just like that and when you rinse the sprouts and the pour the water out the drain screen keeps the sprouts away from the opening. I won't start until next month so my stuff is downstairs. Too lazy to take a picture of mine so I swiped this one from the internet. :O

I’m going to look at these next trip to Dollar Tree, for sure. Great tip! The cheesecloth is only good for one go-round. It just gets too stained and grungy for my taste. Not that it’s expensive or anything, but I’m all for re-using when I can.

I am saving the planet one cheesecloth square at a time! Hear that, Enviro-Weenies? LOL!
