I would go with the continuing paycheck belief. The fix is already in so deep that Chameleon Harris can almost taste the coming job, which wouldn’t be Vice President for more than a few weeks.

But then, the Senate would select the Vice President, and a curious outcome could come up where Georgia could lose both Republican seats, and rather than Mike Pence, the totally adversarial Harris could still be VP.
