Correction: Trump's base is 73 million. There are people that voted for Trump that will never vote for GOP candidates (blacks that voted for Trump, for instance). I would knock at least 10 million off that total when you are talking about the GOP support.

I think you mistakenly assume things remain static. Trump has proved that a non Democrat can win black & brown votes. I think we were mistaken in ever believing that minorities were permanent Democrats. It was lazy of us 😉
