What's Happening To Us?

It has been difficult trying to process everything occurring in this nation! I'm a nervous wreck. I think I instinctively know that the country is disintegrating & that we are on the verge of a national divorce & eventual civil war. We no longer trust one another. We certainly don't see each other as countrymen any more. I don't things are salvageable. It's bizarre pledging loyalty to this nation, our flag & our entire form of government, but feeling fundamentally at irreconcilable odds with half of her people. What's worst is coming to the realization that many of us, myself included, no longer have faith in our elections, our press, our schools & our national established institutions. Things feel irretrievably broken down. I don't think any of us truly want to believe that our society has become susceptible to electoral cheating, cop killing, big tech companies violating our right to free speech, a propagandized politburo press & a corrupt deep state establishment that votes against our best interests at every turn. We are now in the ultimate clusterfark that could only have capped off a year like 2020. There was likely cheating in the election, we are all suspicious of one another, it doesnt seem like the electoral investigations are going well & we are now actually contemplating having state legislatures throw out elections. I don't know what to think any more. I guess the only way I can see us successfully going forward is by dividing into different nations- a national divorce 😏

Not trying to be a jerk—but whose fault is that? We keep putting up candidates who either are RINOs, no one at all, or these old geezers.

There are some bright stars starting to shine through.

In order to win the BIG elections we need candidates who can promote conservative values. The problem is that “conservative values” are ridiculed and defined by our opponents.

I think it’s obvious that term limits would help—but that is a long term plan.

I think we should start with party imposed term limits and age limits. When we look at the median age of Americans and our leadership from both parties. The disparity is crazy.

But, we keep doing the same thing and hoping for a different result.

1. Self imposed term limits
2. Aging out limits
3. A review of candidate family connections—no one “makes money” as an office holder.
4. Fiscal discipline.
5. Push big social issues to the states. In fact we should push everything possible to the states.
6. Focus on educating the citizenry on how government is supposed to work. Many of our issues are because people look to the Federal government to fix their local issues. We need to educate them how this government thing is supposed to work.

But instead we call names and worry about groups of thugs who amount to less and a few hundred people nationally.

Our leaders should be out in front of these large movements—we might not agree on HOW to fix the big social problems—but we are not even in the pictures.

Our side needs to learn how to communicate in the age of social media. Leaving Twitter and You Tube sound like good ideas—but we need to start funding true investigative journalists—even if they tell us bad things about our people.

Those are positive ways to get into the population and get our message across. Instead, we sit here and complain about life not being fair.

Agreed. I’m also sick of the defeatism. “We will never win again.” “Eveythings lost.” “The new baseline is 80 million people & we can’t beat that. Nobody but Trump can win. Wah wah waaaahh” 🙄 We are perfectly capable of winning everything. This is a basically conservative country. Whining, however, has never been an effective strategy for anything. Most people on this site seem oblivious that we held the Senate, picked up a lot of house seats, control state legislature redistricting in all swing states & President Trump won 74 million votes under the most difficult conditions possible & we won much larger minority vote percentages than anything for the past half century! We are winning. People are just too blind to realize it 🤷🏼🤦🏼🤣

So we’re in the bananna republic realm where Biden wins 99% of the vote in 2024.

Real Elections have been eliminated.

The “Show” will go on for a decade or two I suppose.

This is definitely a scary time. So many of us are deeply concerned.

President Trump has never lied to us. Trust what he says. Fight for what you believe in! Make calls, write letters, FReep politicians, comfort family, stock up on essential supplies, keep your eyes open, research for yourself, don’t believe what the media tells you, stay United with your fellow Americans, stay in fighting form, and pray unceasingly.
