Yes, it’s a big F’up.

As a side note:
As a client you should always review everything in the document and verify it is right before signing it. Paralegals copy and paste from other cases and stray stuff may show up on your case filings. It shouldn’t..but it does.

I might remind you that the lawyers in “Scott v Sandford” misspelled the defendants name IN the USSC case header itself (”Sanford”).

Good advice! I “saved” a case that I was a party to for those exact reasons. Paralegal screwed up the copy and left the wrong names in.
