Here’s the problem: the townships and precincts listed in paragraphs 11 and 17 of the affidavit are not in Michigan. They are in Minnesota. Monticello, Albertville, Lake Lillian, Houston, Brownsville, Runeberg, Wolf Lake, Height of Land, Detroit Lakes, Frazee, Kandiyohi–these are all towns in Minnesota. I haven’t checked them all, but I checked a lot of them, and all locations listed in paragraphs 11 and 17 that I looked up are in Minnesota, with no corresponding township in Michigan. This would have been obvious to someone from this state,
Evidently a researcher, either Mr. Ramsland or someone working for him, was working with a database and confused “MI” for Minnesota with “MI” for Michigan. (The postal code for Minnesota is MN, while Michigan is MI, so one can see how this might happen.) So the affidavit, which addresses “anomalies and red flags” in Michigan, is based largely, and mistakenly, on data from Minnesota.
This is a catastrophic error, the kind of thing that causes a legal position to crash and burn. Trump’s lawyers are fighting an uphill battle, to put it mildly, and confusing Michigan with Minnesota will at best make the hill steeper. Credibility once lost is hard to regain. Possibly Trump’s lawyers have already discovered this appalling error, and have undertaken to correct it. But the Ramsland Affidavit was filed in Georgia just yesterday.
A postscript: has Mr. Ramsland inadvertently stumbled across evidence of voter fraud in Minnesota? I seriously doubt it. The venues in question are all in red Greater Minnesota, not in the blue urban areas where voter fraud is common.
Trump’s lawyers have not yet had their day in court, but they will have to do a great deal better than this if they hope to succeed.

McConnell wants Trump gone....he is as corrupt as Biden.
What has the GOP done to help Trump??
I can think of two thing...in four years....
GOP give us the house..seate and president and we will do all these things
That would be the 6D chess game, otherwise known as a "Hail Mary."
;)
Bingo and corrected!
I was wondering when the armchair quarterbacks would show up.
What makes you think the USSC is going to hear any of these cases?
I might remind you that the lawyers in “Scott v Sandford” misspelled the defendants name IN the USSC case header itself (”Sanford”).
Who is this loser? A nobody, compared to Trump's legal team. And whoever posed this is pathetic. Go root for Biden and the cheaters, since that's what you must admire.
Misspelling a name is different than citing relevant facts in a totally different jurisdiction.
PA is the best shot, IMO....and even that may not happen...but no one here wants to hear any of that.
People hire lawyers and will say “ I WILL FIGHT IT ALL THE WAY TO THE SUPREME COURT”...without understanding chances of that are slim.
Agreed
Boiokmarking the whole thread.
I agree. As I wrote in another post, it is bothersome that they drop the Michigan lawsuit today, thinking that just because the canvassers recanted, Michigan would stop the certification of the vote. That does not appear to be the case.
Also, making ridiculous mistakes like including the wrong city under the wrong state really makes them look incompetent, to the extent that one would wonder what else is wrong with the complaint.
But the worst part of this press conference today was when the media asked where the FBI was. Embarrassingly, Rudy and the rest of the team just kept saying yeah where are they, where is Bill Barr?? It is likely that none of us have direct access to Bill Barr, Christopher Wray or the FBI, but their client is the POTUS, who they all report to! And clearly it is their jobs to investigate such corruption. It really made Rudy et al look weak.
rather easy to back seat drive when you have no clue what they know and how they decided to play this. I am betting all will be good.
“ Team Trump lawyers are being swatted away like flies, even by Trump appointed Judges.”
I voted for Trump and would do so again. But he seems to be failing big time on on the ground game of accomplishing what needs to be do.
I hope I am wrong, but time is running out. When the states begin certifying it will be game over.
Answer. No. It sure seems they don’t know what they are doing.

Trump’s lawyers quit. The RNC is AWOL even on Ronna Romney’s home turf. Trump’s own DOJ is engaged in a coup against him aided and abetted by his own party. What do you expect from Trump given that? If he looks weak and without a functioning executive branch it is because that is the case.
I believe there are a few of us wondering the same!
