In November 2019, a George Mason University professor stumbled upon a Bible and an accompanying CD in her classroom. The professor collected the items and immediately reported the items to the school’s Bias Incident Reporting Team, which classified the episode as “discrimination” and “harassment” against “religion.”
The professor accompanied her report with photographs of the Bible, and the items were collected by the Bias Team.
The incident was one of 12 filed with the school’s bias reporting website between January 1, 2019 and January 1, 2020 and obtained by The College Fix through an open records law request. The documents provided by the university were redacted to protect the privacy of students involved.
The reports were obtained as The Fix continues to investigate the types of complaints that are lodged through bias response teams at college campuses across the nation. Nearly two dozen universities have been included in the investigation so far since it launched in 2019.
According to George Mason’s Campus Climate website, students and professors are encouraged to report and “act of discrimination, harassment, intimidation, violence or criminal offense committed against any person, group or property that appears to be motivated by prejudice or bias.”

Wait til they run into a Quran or Mao’s little red book. I’d expect massive outrage and protesting. (Reality = {crickets})
Get 1000 people to mail her a bible a day.
Well keep in mind in the 70’s your parents were just kids in elementary, high-school, or just starting college. I am a boomer myself and while we were growing up in the old United States, there was very little at the time we could personally do...we were kids. My ability to vote the first time was for Reagan, maybe your parents it was Carter? But in the 70’s we were just kids.
It is my parents and grandparents who were the adults at the time that saw all this starting. Reagan warned us and warned us. We listened to talkers like Limbaugh who told us he would signal when to fight back...he never did. Now, now he’s passing away and so is our country. Millions waited, took the high-road of morality never realizing that we were on the wrong moral road. It is the very road to death, loss of liberty, and we’ve paved the way for the lawless one.
The LORD amazes me in his kindness. He could smoke anyone who dares to slander his Word, but he doesn’t. He waits patiently, allowing most of us decent chunks of time to choose Yea or Nay to the finished work of Christ on our behalf. The stakes are high. He isn’t like us, he is slow to anger. I am so thankful!
Satan doesn’t fear the bible...why do his useless tools fear it?
I came around in 75, they were old enough. Even the 80s it was obvious too.
Everyone was too busy being good families, working and living that they thought a lot of things would just pass by. A lot of people also thought things were just a fad.
This is also why it’s so important to study history in school. Then people can recognize when things are going in an evil direction.
George Mason U used to have a reputation as a conservative school. Walter Williams has been on the faculty for decades. So sad.
The Left believes they have no reason to respect any rights of conservatives.
Couldn’t get the info from the article, but was it a real professor (STEM) or one of the pretend girly girl (no insult to real women that I know) who’s never encountered an idea requiring more than two brain cells to fire and lives in the English/Studies/Sociology/etc departments?
No insult meant to all those humanities types I’ve known and respected throughout the years. Sadly, they’re becoming more and more rare.
A week earlier she found a koran. No problem whatsoever.
She’s probably white, so she couldn’t ‘find’ a noose, so she ‘found’ a Bible instead.
In the olden days the arm and bayonet were the enemy.
In Today’s perverted world, the Bible is the enemy.

She would probably just secure such a thing in one of those protective glass cases displayed prominently on her desktop.*
*You know, a real desktop, not the virtual computer one. :-)
