Yellow-bellied GOP cowards, unfortunately, are many.
Well, that was short lived.
It looked like two Republicans on the four-person Wayne County, Michigan, Board of Canvassers were showing some spine, refusing to certify county election results after significant voting irregularities.
But that all changed hours later after pressure, some in the form of threats, caused the two to vote unanimously to certify the results.
Add to that Michigan State Senate Majority leader Mike Shirkey (R) who says Joe Biden is the president–elect and that the Republican Majority State Legislature will not award the state electors to President Donald Trump.
“Not Going to Happen,” Shirkey said on Tuesday.

I just don’t have words...
Nauseating!
RepubliTARDS aren’t the stupid party for nothing!!!!!!
They will be exposed and once this coup is over there will be reckoning. They might want to consider moving to Ukraine.
Kickk the can. Not my fight. Higher ups are responsible. Not in my pay grade. and more and more and more. Cowards all.
You think that makes the parents "RepubliTARDS" for giving in to threats of physical harm against their children?
I'll assume you're another Armchair General.
You're shooting at the wrong target. You should be shooting at the Doxxers.
Aren’t threats against a school considered terrorisim? Why can’t we track these doxxers down and prosecute them? Or just shoot them? It’s probably some lily white woke snowflake hiding in his rich democrats parents basement.....
Let that sink in for a second. Think about all the rioting, looting, and burning of businesses that has occurred. Think about all the physical attacks against Trump supporters, not to mention the outright lies told about them and our President. Those are the people controlling the vote.
If we want to save this Republic we need to fight for it. Words no longer have any value. Statesmen are the last people we need now.
The sooner we start looking at this divide as a war and treating is as such, the sooner we'll find the true patriots.
If you're going to stand up to a wall of bullets, you should expect you're going to be shot. I don't blame them for backing down, and yes, the doxxers should be hung from a lamppost, but our Founders understood what it meant to do something that was morally correct but personally difficult, even if it meant their families were in harm's way.
There's a reason we don't negotiate with terrorists. That's all the Democrats are now: leftist terrorists.
They put it all on the line back in 1776. Each of them who signed their name had crossed a Rubicon, and there was no going back.
That takes courage.
Understand that by just posting to FR, you are doing something functionally similar. When the left’s death squads (read: Antifa) start their Kristallnacht (they’ve already used this very term), they’ll use boards like FR and Parler for lists of people to doxx, terrorize, and murder. In a way, by continuing to post here, we’re already marked as enemies.
Thomas Reed said that a statesman is a successful politician who is dead. Trump doesn’t need statesmen, he needs a competent legal team. That’s where he’s being ill-served.
We don't need statesmen. We need street fighters.
Republicans are a bunch a RINO pussies. Can't even stand up for their own party.
I will settle for a well-armed and unregulated militia.

Take note what happened tonight. 2 Republican officials in MI stood up to the machine. Within minutes they were doxxed, threatened, and CNN/Politico labeled them racists. Where does this behavior lead?
The above is a Parler post describing why the Republican officials caved. Posobiec works for One America News Network.

You’re shooting at the wrong target. You should be shooting at the Doxxers.
Wrong target. Aim it at the pathetic secret service protected GOP Senate and rule of lawless DOJ. The GOP is projecting business as usual and totally undercutting POTUS once again.
I understand, and have understood from day one that to be the case.
That is one of the things I admire most about our forebears who put their signature on that piece of paper. That was equivalent to putting their head into a noose, especially when you look at the odds they faced going against the mightiest military power in the world at the time.
If or when that time comes when I am called on to stand by things I’ve said, I hope that I have the courage to do so. One never knows for sure how one will react, but I hope that I will be able to stand by what I believe to be right.
That is not to say that I have not said things that are wrong, or have not said things that are stupid or deliberately inflammatory, because I have.
But if push comes to shove I am put on the spot with my liberty or my life on the line, that I can stand by things that I have said about this country I love, and the principles behind it.
And if that means but I have to stand behind even the stupid or inflammatory things I have said as a principle and in doing that support the Constitution as it was envisioned by the founders, I can be stood up against the wall for that.
I’m getting closer to the end of my life from the beginning that’s for sure, and I don’t have as much skin in the game right now as someone with a family dependent on him and who has his whole life in front of him.
And again, I think there are few of us who know exactly how we would react in that situation, but I hope against hope that it never comes to that, and even more than that, I hope I can do what is right if it does.
Pressure = $$$$$$$
The GOP motto: “We don’t want to be blamed...”
