The Republican Party is committing suicide
American Thinker ^ | 17 Nov, 2020 | Henry Edwards

There are so many assertive actions the Republican Party could take to support Trump, but it’s utterly passive. Its suicide comes at a cost for Americans.

If the Republican Party fails to use every possible stratagem to retain the Presidency in 2020, it will have signed its death certificate. The majority of the 73 million people whose votes for Trump were properly counted may well turn away from the Republican Party in disgust. Why bother to vote if the Republican Party is too feckless and incompetent to mount a successful challenge to a stolen election? However, this act of suicide comes at a cost.

When they’re accused of fecklessness, establishment Republicans, in their defense, will point to gains in the House and, if we’re lucky, to their holding the Senate gain. However, much of this gain isn’t due to the Republican brand but, instead, to Trump’s coattails.

At the “Republican brand” level, we have the self-styled “Lincoln Project” Republicans who aggressively tried to intimidate Trump’s lawyers before they got shamed and deleted their tweet:

Trump has transformed the party and given me more people I can actually be happy to vote for when they run. Yea abandon them. that makes no sense and is useless. The new young conservatives in party are excellent for the most part. Continue the defeat of the GOPe and dems is my plan.

No you are a f’ing mind numbed idiot. You know nothing about me and obviously have not reviewed any of my past comments. You go ahead and be a GOP lamb. Unlike you my mind works the way God designed it to and I think for myself. I am a conservative, not tied to any party and I absolutely feel like hurling every time I am forced to vote for some POS RINO.

Yes. Not only is the GOP suicidal, it’s brain-dead stupid.

Trump is the best any group could hope to follow. True American Patriots must unite behind President Trump.

We have all the proof ingrained in our memories of November 3, 2020.

Do not doubt for one minute, the sudden awaking of the RINOS like Jeb Bush means they are taking back the GOP from Trump. They plan to run in 2024 and they want Trump and Pence out of the way.

What or who is this "Republican Party" that this genius is talking about?

What are the assertive actions of which he speaks?

What Republican Party?

There has only ever been one party. Since Jekyll Island there has only been one party.

Trump started his own party. The GOP got mugged into supporting it publicly. Factions within the GOP have signed up with Trump. The others are working as hard as they can with the Globalists to either kill him, or to steal this election.

One party, and one insurgent party. That’s it. Even the left has their insurgents that are sympathetic to Trump’s movement.

Better to think about the GOP never really having existed. JFK was an insurgent. Reagan was an insurgent.

Both got bullets. They’ve tried to kill Trump too.

One party. That’s it.

Signs:

The end of America
The last Catholic, Christian pope
China on the rise

I’m beginning to think we are in the biblical end times.

The people in the trench:

‘That’s not who we are!”

“We are better than that!”,

“We are morally superior to them!”.. . . . . .

That is the frame of mind that got them into the trench!

If you don”t want the democrats to put you into the trench. you will have to be more vicious than they are.

That means totally destroy them. Have no mercy for them for they will have none for you, if they win control.

Yep. The GOPe plan on making MAGA the TEA party 2.0. Get the base voting for THEIR candidates and the movement goes away.

True, the Republican Party in Georgia is not like Florida’s. I hope that the Georgian Republican Party will become conservative, but maybe if they lose they’ll get smartand start getting Trump supporters as candidates...

There is a long overdue political realignment happening. The old RINO establishment party is being replaced by a new voting coalition being built by Trump. The establishment can see how threatening 73 million of us are to their party, so they are siding with the establishment democrats to fight it.

The new party should be called the AmericaFirst party. It should be for gun rights, free enterprise, lower taxes, pro life, fair trade, free speech, private property and yes, voting reform. The F*** with the Republicans....

Both my senators and congressman are standing to the side allowing this to go on unchecked. I will remember all three. McConnell’s Chinese shipping business will make out like the bandit, Biden. In Kentucky we had a very well funded Libertarian run against McConnell this year. If he runs against Paul in 2022 and the dems run a reasonably marketable candidate, this might doom Rand Paul. If the steal happens and Paul remains silent, I’ll vote Libertarian or stay home.

I believe Ghw shrub started the decline towards a republican in name only party when Reagan was forced to accept him on the ticket to get the nomination in 1980.

Post 31 nailed it! I agree with each statement. The time has arrived for fresh politicians. We need term limits to minimize how corrupt they can be also.

They really do not care one way or the other.

I disagree. Most of them wanted Trump out. They just couldn't say it. They are delighted with the current situation, they just can't say it.
