Sen. Grassley is in Quarantine for 14 days through 11/30. He is fourth in line for the Presidency. He is a patriot. He is protected.

According to some of the stuff I read, he may be higher than that, in a contested election. According to them the rules of succession that apply for the President, assume a President has been elected by the electors and sworn in on a specific date.
The current succession laws doesn't apply to a situation where the President has not been elected. And also there was legal analysis stating that if the election could not be certified due to fraud—there would not be a House elected either.
Well, anyway lots of ifs ands buts and legal stuff—
Based on legal mumbo jumbo which I don't recall, the President Pro tempore of the Senate would be President until the election got sorted out. That's currently Grassley.

It’s an honor to be here to talk about how the FBI is fighting the ever-evolving cyber threat.
I do wish we could be together in person, but COVID has of course made us all have to find new ways of getting together. And new ways of doing business.
There’s a lot of talk about “pivoting” today. It’s become kind of a COVID-era buzzword.
Pivoting to host conferences, like this one, virtually. Businesses pivoting to meet the changing needs of customers.
But I’m sure many of you would say that’s nothing new. ..snip..
That makes sense as the only body that survives an undecided (not certified) election is the U.S. Senate as 2/3 of the senators continue to hold their seats. I assume the Senate could conduct business with that number.
