Registration system is also temporarily down due to glitch in sendmail feature. DNS is not going as smoothly as we hoped and there are a few other glitches to be worked out yet. Hope to have this all smoothed out as soon as possible. Well. we now know what to do if we ever get deplatformed. And we know how to be better prepared for an emergency provider swap. Philadelphia Rejected Dominion Voting Systems For Fear Of Foreign Interference In US Elections
"Dominion Voting Systems submitted a bid to The City of Philadelphia to be considered for use in US Elections. Although the bid was given to Election Systems & Software (ES&S), there is something quite curious about its application:
It’s REDACTED.
The redacted part specifically deals with foreign ownership.
"ES&S eventually won the bid, however, its system runs directly against the advice of a Pennsylvania Blue Ribbon Commission on election security, which concluded that ‘Pennsylvania’s elections are at risk because of its voting methods and machinery.’"
"The issue that Dominion Voting Systems is a Canadian Crown Agent bears directly on an Executive Order issued in 2018 on Foreign Interference in US Elections. The Executive Order on Imposing Certain Sanctions in the Event of Foreign Interference in a United States Election states:
(i) the extent to which any foreign interference that targeted election infrastructure materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, the tabulation of votes, or the timely transmission of election results; and
(ii) if any foreign interference involved activities targeting the infrastructure of, or pertaining to, a political organization, campaign, or candidate, the extent to which such activities materially affected the security or integrity of that infrastructure, including by unauthorized access to, disclosure or threatened disclosure of, or alteration or falsification of, information or data.
