After nearly a half-century on the lam, a convicted murder who escaped custody in Pennsylvania has been arrested in Grand Blanc.
The FBI Pittsburgh Division announced Friday that Leonard R. Moses, now 68, was arrested without incident by a Fugitive Task Force out of Detroit. Moses had been at large since 1971, when he escaped custody while attending his grandmothers funeral in Pittsburgh.
At the time, Moses was serving a life sentence on a conviction of first-degree murder.

I’d have to say that escape was “worth it”. Only question - why stay in the U.S.? Get a new life in some other country with no extradition.
The guy was maybe 17 at the time. Somehow he stayed out of trouble for 50 years. So did he have regret and redemption?
Well OK, he handled drugs, and they should be fingerprinted, which is my point. He got busted for sampling his wares.
