Provo-based Utah Valley Hospital is implementing new precautions after several conspiracy theorists attempted to sneak into the intensive care unit, reports NBC affiliate KSL-TV.
Hospital administrator Kyle Hansen told the Provo City Council this week that five people questioning if the ICU was actually as full as the hospital claimed attempted to get inside, some with video cameras.
It seems no one has successfully snuck in thus far. However, the conspiracy theorists have prompted the hospital to take extra precautions, said Mr. Hansen.
"You really can only get in if you're here for an appointment yourself or you have to be listed in a log that we track as a designated visitor for a patient," Mr. Hansen said. "But we've had some people get pretty creative in how they've lied about coming in for an appointment or other things."
The hospital has adjusted how it patrols entrances, Mr. Hansen said. The facility also receives "an inordinate amount of phone calls" every day questioning if the ICU is really full.
Utah Valley Hospital's parent company, Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare, released a Nov. 12 statement emphasizing that the situations with conspiracy theorists were uncommon, but take away from the care for those who need it.
The best way to get the “secret” data is to bribe one of the nurses.
Easy peasy.
In Washington State they haven’t even bothered to pretend that our empty ICU’s have been full during the “pandemic”. There were two weeks in March that were busy for two hospitals on the East Side of King County. Since then the hospitals around here have lost billions of dollars because of low attendance. My doctor’s office nearly went out of business for the same reason. When I saw him last he said that people were still afraid to come in for their checkups.
Yeah...I live in podunk Missouri and the county newspaper’s headline is: Mercy braces for overflow capacity. It’s going on all over the country and I guess I’m not alone when I’d like to see proof and that I don’t believe this b.s. for one second.
lol! It’s come to this. This tactic sounds like Frat behavior, back from when Fraternities were known to be fun.
Can’t you see the chase scenes in the hospital corridors, when they try to escape from the 365lb Security Guard who just noticed ‘Somethin’ funny about that Nurse Assistant.”
If the hospital had any sense, and they were telling the truth. The moment they caught the people with cameras, they wouldve walked them through the hospital and showed them exactly how full they were.
Instant debunk. Of course, they didnt do that.

Let them in. Don’t let them out.

Search around, scroll and move chart to the left to get ICU utilization rates per county.
Everybody knows the only way to infiltrate a hospital is to dress up as a janitor and drag a mop around.
Here’s another truth. Empty hospital beds lose money. Hospitals like high utilization rates. The rate to look at is ICU capacity. And Utah’s is not maxed out.
The hospital in my town, for the last 8 months, has had a virtually empty parking lot. They have a billboard just outside of town that has a red LED counter that gives the approximate ER room wait time. It was typically at 15-30 minutes. Now it’s 1-5 minutes.
BTW, by “virtually empty”, I mean four or five cars, TOTAL.
So, the hospital calls them “conspiracy theorists” and NBC echoes them, the belittle and denigrate them.
Why not call them “concerned citizens” or “citizen representatives” or “citizen inquirers” instead? Hmm?
That hospital needs to be surrounded every day, by thousands of patriots, with demands that citizen witnesses be allowed to see all of the hospital.
Seems hospitals are active parts of the Great Reset, the NWO’s plan to implement Big Brother in America. I wager $$$ are dangling in front of them to do so.
Go to the local bar—have a reverse auction.
The person who will accept the lowest bribe to obtain the info wins!

The lefties love to talk “transparency” until it is time to actually do it.
"Hospital Capacity" is a nebulous definition. A hospital may have 100 beds, but only the staffing and material on hand to operate 80 of them. Also all nurses are not trained or credentialed to work in an ICU setting. Of course the Covid Warriors are still pushing the flatten the curve narrative, That is what Karen's and Ken's do.
This is making me wonder if the hospital is worried it’s gonna get caught lying to Fedzilla about what its been billing Medicare and Medicaid...
So we call them truth fakers....
“The lefties love to talk transparency until it is time to actually do it.”
Until it is looking at them.
The lefties love to preach tolerance, diversity, inclusion, multiculturalism and love, too.
Leftist and Democrat, thy name is Hypocrite.
