With all the news about what Biden plans to do regarding the 2nd Amendment, and how he has already reached out to BATF, I started thinking about topping off my supply.
Sticker shock!!
3 months ago I purchased 1000 rounds of Federal P9HST1 for $750. Now that is going for $1,250. $1.25 for a hollow point 9mm, whodathunk!
Well, I certainly know now what to request for Christmas, my birthday, Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Memorial Day, etc.
Assuming, of course, that America still exists then. (Rhetorical statement ... sort of)
Dropped by Cabela’s a couple of weeks ago. No 9mms, no .22s, no .380s. Empty shelves all over the place. Glad I stocked up a few years ago!
Range ammo is effective across a wide variety of applications.
I was opening some old storage cabinets in the basement and came across some boxes of .22s that still have the Kmart sticker on them, don’t know how long I have had them, but 88 cents for 50, has been awhile.
“I found some Tula steel case 9mm for $25 per box of 50 and splurged on some fun die cut IMI (Israeli) 9mm @ $45 per box”
I fired a buddy’s IMI 9MM pistol, this thing was old and beat up, and was as accurate as it could be.
I’ve never wanted an old beat up pistol more.
South Central Texas. Have 1000 rounds. PM me with a phone number only.

Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space
Sticker shock!!
With all due respect.
It's not like the dems have been shy over the the last thirty years about their intention to disarm the citizens of the United States. Anyone with an ounce of situational awareness knew long ago that a run on guns and ammo would come when the democrats again got within sniffing distance of control of the government.
The time to have stocked up on firearms and ammo was two or three years ago, not now, and we were lucky to have had President Trump's term where we could do it. If Hillary Clinton had been elected many firearms would be banned now and ammo would have been unobtainable the whole time.
If we ever do get back into a position where we can freely find shooting supplies then stock up on everything you think you'll ever need for the rest of your life. I did that years ago. Properly stored firearms and ammo last practically forever.
About a month back, I talked to a few texas hunters up here in Alaska; they were loadin up on ammo for the plane trip home. I ddon’t see 44 mag but 556 is still available. The shelves are pretty full.
A drill bit or hack saw ain’t out of style to make “dum-dums.”
you can get hollow point at any cost?
not here.
And a good way to blow your face off!
FMJ bullets have exposed lead bottoms, you drill into nose and its a good way for the round to shed its jacket in the bore on firing and the next rd....kaboom
Try your bubba tricks at home, first, lol
Even better, Hoppes No 9 is backordered, ships in 1-2 months on Amazon!
Everything gun related is going, going, gone
I got one boolit for each gun, I’m good
FWIW, I was in Walmart the other day for groceries and their gun case was FULL of guns. I didnt check prices, or the price of ammo, but Ive read in other places that Walmart is no longer selling guns of any kind, so it was nice to see that they ARE still available in The Heartland.
The Heartland. That magical place where we grow/raise all the FOOD and pay our taxes to support the doucheb@gs on either coast? Yeah. That place. ;)

And walking by you spot a Mossberg pump for $180 + tax....
wife understands the additional item.
Just got a new melt pot to back up the Lyman but hope it doesn't come to cast.
Hopefully, when I leave, my great grand kids will say "Holy Mackeral, look at all this great stuff Grandad left us!
Wishful thinking, I know.
Teach your grandkids well.....
You shoulda bought primers by the case when they were cheap and plentiful a few years ago when they were $23.00/thousand.
I think they’ve been holding back, waiting for things to look imminently violent. If so, that is the worse type of price gouging.
