Canadians are up in arms after Whole Foods banned its employees from wearing poppies in honor of Remembrance Day, the nation’s holiday for fallen soldiers.

The Amazon-owned supermarket chain reportedly told employees that pinning the traditional red flower to their work uniforms — which consist of an apron, a coat or vest, a hat and name badge — was against its recently updated uniform policy.

Canadian soldiers wear the poppy on their uniforms. I’d tell Whole Foods to F off.

“supporting a cause,”

It's a cause to honor the fallen heroes sacrificed to the stupidest war in history at the hands of the cream of European elite who hadn't a clue what they were doing - which ought to be a warning to all generations for all times to come - beware your elite because they are actually effing stupid incompetent idiots who got their positions in league with their incompetent brethren and sistren and other genderedren which pretty well explains what goes on in DC.

Wear a Forget me not.
It is very small, and unobtrusive flower.
I cannot believe Canadians would allow their losses in The Great War to ever be forgotten.

In Flanders Fields
By John McCrae

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

According to the French legend, a young knight was trying to pick up the flower for his lady. But he fell into the river because of his heavy armor. Before sinking forever, he tossed the flower to his girl and shouted ‘forget me not!’. Since then, the flower symbolizes sincere, eternal, and desperate love. From another perspective, it also represents the memory of a deceased person.

Another forget me not flower meaning comes from a Christian legend. God was naming every flower he created, and when he was about to leave, one tiny flower started to cry and said: ‘forget me not, Lord!’. The lord then turned back and said: ‘this will be your name so that no one forgets it.’ From a Christian perspective, this legend shows us God’s mercy and compassion for every living organism.

My children are heavily involved in the Children of the American Revolution. My son used the poppy to commemorate the American Dough boy, and my daughter is using the Forget-me-not to help raise funds for remembering ALL POW-MIA throughout all of American history.

Surprise twist! - not!

"Wearing a poppy could be considered a display of a political belief, according to employment lawyer Alex Lucifero..."

with a name such as that how could he be anything but a lawyer or progressive.

Same with Walmart employees. They’re limited to the 4th of July for wearing patriotic themed apparel (stars and stripes). A woman member of management recently announced that to employees in one of the stores and said that it came from upper management.

Radical socialists will push such a policy, then recede after complaints. Sometimes, upper management will deny issuing such policy. Sometimes, those policies come from middle or lower management. Often, management will deny having issued the order.

They’ll do it off and on for decades if necessary, until everyone goes along with it. Feminists are known for using that tactic. It’s part of the cancel culture thing, and it’s been going on for a long time.

Westerners are realizing the outcasts from their societies, along with the imported millions of “replacements”, care nothing for their original culture or history.
