If this is a real event, I would think having a pizza right next to her, giving off all that delicious aroma would make for a more difficult labor. When you smell something tasty, your stomach involuntarily prepares to receive it.

Looks like he did a special order with half for him and half for her. Not sure you are suppose to eat while you are in labor but according to some nurses I know that is not even half as weird as some of the other things they have seen happening in delivery rooms.
