It's the same big city/flyover country split we see all over the country.
Tarrant and Collin Counties are almost democrat now.
When I left, those were solid conservative districts.
Tarrant was the home of rodeos and cowboys while Dallas held the minorities. Collin was conservative until the tech industry built up at 635/75.
