TEXAS 2016 vs TEXAS 2020

Posted on 11/04/2020 12:37:27 PM PST by LeonardFMason

FOX was breathless in their coverage of Texas last night. "About to turn BLUE?" "Massive inroads being made."

DOOM and GLOOM all around. TRUMP "squeaks" by.

REALITY:

2016 DJT 4,685,047 52.2% Clinton 3,877,868 43.2% DJT + 807,179 +9.0%

2020 DJT 5,858,820 52.2% Biden 5,196,313 46.3% DJT + 662,507 5.9%

Not the best trend, HOWEVER, this is a substantial and solid win. FOX, except for Rove, was amazed at how close the race was in Texas.

He’s only in the application stage: he’s working on applications for Texas Tech (computer science major) and then choosing some of the A&M and UT colleges to apply to (not the main ones as his GPA isn’t the greatest, but he loves to program!).

Thanks for asking. Nice to get my mind off Trump’s victory in the process of being stolen.

I went to bed calm and optimistic, based off the numbers form the War Room Election special’s analyst (he was great!). I’m too trusting in people doing the honorable thing.

That is exactly the problem. That, plus woke kids. We’ve got them here just like the rest of the country, and they aren’t all in Austin.

Tarrant and Collin Counties are almost democrat now.
When I left, those were solid conservative districts.

Tarrant was the home of rodeos and cowboys while Dallas held the minorities. Collin was conservative until the tech industry built up at 635/75.

Demographics is destiny. The south has been overrun by transplants. Grant couldn't burn the place down as well as these folk.

How on earth did Biden get 1.4 MILLION more votes than Hillary?

Did the population of Texas grow by a few million the last 4 years?

Trump screwed around and did not build the wall. Look at where the blue counties are. The southern border has been breeched.

If we lose it’s 100% on all the dumb, stupid comments Trump made over 4 years, plus the failure to build a wall. We are doomed and I will forever blame Donald Trump.

Texas is not slipping, we are being over run by companies moving to Texas bringing liberals with them and illegal aliens not being deported and eventually being allowed to vote.

Zapata County, on the Rio Grande south of Laredo, is the 2nd-most hispanic county in the country by percentage and went for Trump.

It's Asian immigrants and liberal-state transplants driving this.

Try again.

Population
2016 - 27.9 million
2019 - 29.9 Million

Texas is growing and what the political make up will be in a
few years is yet to be seen. The major urban areas are growing.

Have your son check out the University of Dallas, a conservative Jesuit university.

I know, Jesuits have been getting a bad rap lately, but those aren't the Jesuits I knew when I went to Gonzaga. I graduated two years after Fr. Robert Spitzer, noted Jesuit author, speaker, professor.

I tried to get my daughter to attend the University of Dallas, but I think my stories about my experiences at Gonzaga turned her off. She ended up at UNT (North Texas).

I dumped Faux in October 2016 because of the way they treated Candidate Trump, and I stopped watching Faux Business due to Cavuto and his Never Trump attitude.

Right, now, I think that they are being funded in part by the Deep State aka the ChiComs.

OANN today is the Fox news of 15-20 years ago.

I don’t even bother with CNN/MSNBC/Bloomberg/Fox/Headline News.

I watch a variety of local news, and OANN.

I like OAN a little more than Newsmax. At this point both are preferable to Fox News. There still are FOX shows I like Tucker, Hannity, Laura, Waters Gutfeld, Levin, and a few others but the news is dead to me.

Trump’s next great service is building a MAGA Media Empire. A Conservative/Populist Network dedicated to American greatness.
