The issue in GA is the ubiquitous “uncounted votes in large urban areas”.

Decision Desk HQ has Trump up in Georgia by about 7% with about 90% counted.

Doesn’t make sense: The latest local counts here show Trump strongly ahead of Biden.

Senate GA: Perdue (R) is ahead of Ossoff (D) by a large amount.

Senate GA (runoff will be needed needed) for a special election for the other seat: Democrat has 1.1 million, Loeffler (R) has 1.1 million, Collins (R) has 800,000.

So the three repubbies for Senate are winning (in total), and Trump is ahead of Biden, but the NYTimes is claiming Biden will take the state of GA?

Only half of Atlanta has been counted and the half that has is going about 75-80% for Biden. There’s a massive number of presumably Democrat votes waiting to be counted. We’re not out of the weeds here quite yet.

NYT message feed said something about suburban areas near Atlanta halting the count of absentee ballots due to a water line break, or some such bullshit.

They're trying to figure out if they can plausibly "find" enough votes to overcome Trump's lead in the state, obviously.
