I remember in 2016 seeing a guy being interviewed. This guy looked to be in his 30s, a couple of days of stubble on his face, blue jeans, work boots, work shirt, and cap. He was asked why he supported Trump, he said, “because he’s one of us” the one asking the question looked dumbfounded, who could a working stiff think that a billionaire is “one of us”, the man went on to explain that “the East Coast elite, Hollywood, and the media hate him, and they also hate us.”

When all government ...in little as in great things... shall be drawn to Washington as the center of all power; it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another, and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated." -- Thomas Jefferson, 1821

President Donald Trump is only a temporary remedy. DC is a cancer that must be removed or this country will die. The Romans couldn't do it. Can America?

I doubt that America can do it, to be honest. The next Democrat President will be as radically left as Trump is anti-Establishmentarian, and will undo much of Trump’s good works.

FReeper Grampa Dave perhaps said it best:
If Hiterily gets elected with enough votes in Congress, these will be the good old days.

The purists, who will stay at home because our candidate couldn't walk on water without getting the soles of his Teva's wet will have gifted us with another Clintoon pillaging.

We love Donald Trump because our ruling class elites don’t love us.

That’s why we show up.

Tucker nailed it.

Political corruption will always try to grow like a weed. Of course a people who feel weak, afraid, and dependent on government are ripe grounds for such weeds to flourish. It is a strong independent confident virtuous people that chokes such weeds out.

No cleaning up of the corruption will long endure without a change in culture.

"Our ruling class is disgusting..."

In what universe is Tucker Swanson McNear Carlson not part of the ruling "class"?

I guess even our elites are susceptible to self loathing.

Trump 2020 is a must.
writer, Karl Mathiesen, is a major gloBULL warming gate-keeper, from climate insider website, Climate Home News:

2 Nov: Politico: It doesn’t matter who wins the election. The US leaves the Paris climate deal at midnight.
By the time Tuesday’s presidential election closes out, the US will be out of the global climate pact.
By Karl Mathiesen
It will be bittersweet or the ultimate victory lap.
Finally, 1,253 days after U.S. President Donald Trump announced plans to leave the Paris climate deal, he will by Wednesday take his country out of the global agreement...

What would it take to go back in?
Democratic presidential contender Joe Biden has vowed to reenter the deal on his first day in office. He could do that through a brief executive order accepting the accord on behalf of the U.S. — just as Barack Obama did in 2016.
But a signature alone might not cut it. The U.S. would also need to submit a formal plan for cutting emissions, known as a nationally determined contribution or NDC. The rules aren’t clear about whether this is a prerequisite for joining or would have to follow shortly afterward.
To do that, the administration would need a plan and policies — and, to implement it, the support of the U.S. Congress.

Is it really that easy?
There is the question of money. The U.S. committed $3 billion to the U.N. Green Climate Fund, which helps poorer countries cope with climate change and move to clean energy. Obama paid $1 billion of that amount.
Biden has said he will “recommit” to the fund, which implies back-paying the U.S. debt. But that commitment is several years old and the hosts of COP26 — the U.K. government — are calling for rich countries to double their previous climate finance commitments...

2 Nov: Breitbart: (Nigel) Farage Launches Anti-Lockdown Movement. About Time…
by James Delingpole
Nigel Farage has repurposed his Brexit Party as the Reform Party and will be using it to campaign against the lockdown.
Better late than never, Nige…
Some of us have been fighting lockdowns right from the very start. Nigel Farage most definitely has not. Indeed, for several maddening months, he was very much part of the problem...

Coronavirus, it’s becoming increasingly clear, is being used as the bitter, brutal revenge of the Remainer elite. Sure, some of the politicians most culpably responsible for the lockdown — Boris Johnson, Michael Gove, Dominic Cummings — are Brexiteers.

But I believe that, at the bottom, this is a Deep State coup by the very same people — the dodgy academics, the corrupt or blinkered scientists, the lefty civil servants and lawyers (not you, Lord Sumption!), the MSM — especially the BBC — who’ve always loathed British sovereignty and liberty and see Covid-19 as a beneficial crisis to steal them away forever in order to subsume the UK into their preferred globalist new order...

Well, he does go to work every day and supports Trump, as well as paying a personal price for his views, security-wise.
I suspect he is not too welcome at certain cocktail parties.

prepare for The Great Re-Set. many Australians not happy about this development but taxpayer-funded ABC Australia is, no doubt, delighted:

2 Nov updated 3 Nov: ABC Australia: Australian Army reservists to be compulsorily called out to respond to more bushfires, natural disasters and coronavirus-style crises
ABC Investigations/ By Sean Rubinsztein-Dunlop
Thousands of Australian Defence Force personnel will be deployed to more frequent natural disasters and COVID-style crises on home soil, in what a senior ADF official describes as a “paradigm shift” focused on the impacts of climate change.

ABC Investigations can reveal many of the Army’s 14,000 active reservists will be the main responders under the strategy, facing mandatory call-outs to support state agencies grappling with increasingly catastrophic disasters, like the Black Summer bushfires...

ABC Investigations can reveal the Army has already been planning a permanent role in domestic crisis responses for months, under a new mantra of “more teams … for more tasks, in more places, more of the time.”...
