The info was from a source other than the laptop. The FBI wanted to know who that source was & what they had given Tucker

Bobulinksi met with FIB on or around Oct.23 for 5-6 hours with legal representation present and gave them everything he had already. Sundance should freeking calm down.
The info ‘stolen’ enroute to Tucker from his producer wasn’t from Tony B. - it was from another source who had just contacted them (Monday I think) & the info further corroborated Tony B’s info. The FBI didn’t have it from Tony B. or the laptop ... of course they wanted to know who this source was & what he had.
Based on what Sundance has hinted at from his own experience recently (when he was meeting with top government officials, congress critters & including Durham’s chief investigator), I don’t think he’s crying wolf or overly excited.
Sundance is motivated by self promotion and I have seen him wrong so many times I haven’t bothered reading him for a couple of years. His entire schtick of meeting with “top government officials” was the final straw in his big pile of self promoting bloviation.
