B52’s loaded with hyper-sonic over the horizon air to air missiles should take out any opposing force in short order.
S-500 radar: 91N6A(M) acquisition and battle management radar ranges out to 1000km and altitudes to 60 miles - well beyond any 52 with BVR missiles - in short the radar and other associated radars would see the 52s long before they got close to a release point and have launched against them. Its a B-2, F-22 and 35 killer. Also the 40N6 missile has a range of 400 kilometers (250 miles) uses self-homing warheads at 9X the speed of sound with 95% accuracy.
Future air war is not past air war. In the past that would have worked but the future will not be the same. Air to air will all be expendable drones. Air to ground will be drones led by (followed by) fighter bombers (mostly drones). Hell, ground war will not be the same either. Look at the Azerbijan (Turkey) / Armenia current conflict. Drones, drones, drones. Even the ground war is not traditional. Future wars will be completely based on the ability to pay for the production/tech of your weapons systems.
