S-500 radar: 91N6A(M) acquisition and battle management radar ranges out to 1000km and altitudes to 60 miles - well beyond any 52 with BVR missiles - in short the radar and other associated radars would see the 52s long before they got close to a release point and have launched against them. Its a B-2, F-22 and 35 killer. Also the 40N6 missile has a range of 400 kilometers (250 miles) uses self-homing warheads at 9X the speed of sound with 95% accuracy.

Right on.

And US/Israel/NATO assets have been regularly pinged by both S-400 and S-500 systems within Syria over the past few years.

Changing subject a bit, for much of last year (really both 2018/2019), global commercial airline flights into Tel Aviv have been flying “horizon” and “line of site”, as Russian radar jammers have often blanketed and jammed all commercial plane radar, and at yes radio, across Israel, all the to the Red Sea, across the Sanai, and including Western Jordan and Northwestern SA. Even Cyprus has complained.

The region looks like a real ground zero in the near future.

No way can the S-500 track out to 1000 KMs!

According to the Russian web site:

http://www.rg.ru/2014/07/07/s-500-site.html

Quote:
“The S-500 is supposed to be equipped with missiles designed to destroy aircraft, helicopters and cruise missiles within a radius of up to 400 kilometers, as well as powerful anti-missiles with a range of 600 kilometers.”
