Had to download ballot request form , copy , fill out and post from Japan . Nothing . Contacted them and they " said " it was sent . The Japanese don't lose mail . Most reliable postal service in the world methinks . Anyway , couldn't vote for Trump , sadly .

Mail is slower here in USA due to election & Covid-19. Sorry you didn’t get yours.

Postal action from Germany to east coast has doubled in terms of time it takes to move an envelop. Back in April, it could take three to four weeks, so it’s improved since then.

It’s New York. Their electoral votes when it comes to the presidential election are a foregone conclusion. If you lived in Pennsylvania, however, that would be a different case.

Will they allow people to vote in person there? If so you will have to go in and vote I guess.

His voting right and privilege was taken from him due to incompetence or suppression. That’s disenfranchisement. That’s a big deal even if his vote wouldn’t change anything.

Bullshit.

The system is imperfect. Do you think the State of NY is looking to suppress this one person’s vote?

I am sorry it didn’t work out, but when you choose to not be here in person, these are the risks. They always have been.

The next few days are going to be a shit show. We need to keep the drama down to a minimum.

This Suffolk county native and frequent absentee ballot user (military)
says six weeks out is way too late.
