RIP Sean Connery. Sure, he will always be James Bond - Goldfinger being my favorite - but I thought his best work was in The Man Who Would Be King. Such a wonderful voice.

Sad to see him go. He never had a problem with gender identity. One of the memorable lines from Goldfinger:

Pussy Galore: My name is Pussy Galore.
James Bond: I must be dreaming.

Sean Connery was my FAVORITE of all the Bond actors. I was in high school when I first saw him, or even heard of him, in the movie Goldfinger. From then on, I was hooked on Bond. Rest in Peace.

Not just Bond. "The Wind And The Lion" from 1975 is also quite good and worth a watch. Written and directed by John Milius (Dirty Harry, Conan, Red Dawn, Apocalypse Now).

Thunderball was the first movie soundtrack LP that I ever purchased.
