Michael Poggi (Owner) has a great personal relationship with the leopard, but that does not carry over to others.
I have heard that if cheetahs are raised by humans from birth (before they open their eyes), that they are the most likely of the big cats to be safe with humans - but that the others never really are. Even Michael Poggi might be in for a horrible surprise at any moment, if that leopard gets spooked, or in a foul mood.

You’re not going to stop a leopard without a gun. I once watched a video where a pit bull attacked one and it looked like a cat taking a mouse by the head and carrying it off. It was over in less than a second.
