After this tantrum and Cohen closes the deal, he can move them 2 miles down the train line to Nassau County. Nobody wants to go to Flushing anyway.

Then he can tell delosio to enjoy the suck of that beautiful newish field of emptiness. If you build it they will leave.

Perish the thought. Not even Joiysey would want 'em ... besides, Senator 'Sparticus' would most likely take the reigns from deBlasshole and block the Mets from moving to the Joiysey Swamps as well .... /laughs

“New Jersey Mets”

Mets colors are the same as the City of New York flag, orange and blue, which go back to New Netherlands and the House of Orange. The Mets started about the same time as the 1964-65 New York World's fair, celebrating 300th anniversary of the year the Duke of York threw out the Dutch East Indies company. Blue and Orange were the fair's theme colors. (Not incidentally, also the year, 1664, that my patronymic Huguenot nth great-grandfather was recorded in the New Netherlands census.)
