Kind of reminded me of when Scorpio paid some black guy to beat him up so he could Blame Dirty Harry..:

Not a black leopard. What he encountered is a Florida Panther.
Its the same species as a Cougar, Puma or Mountain Lion but in Florida they’re called Florida Panthers. The state brought in some from outside to freshen up the gene pool of them just a few years ago. Getting close to them is an exceptionally bad idea.
Sounds like he got what he paid for.
If the Florida Fish and Wildlife identifies the cat as a Black Leopard you can be sure it was indeed a Black Leopard and not a Florida Panther. They pretty much know the difference.
Its simply a different name for the same species. We only have one species of big cat in North America (aside from a few Jaguars that have actually been spotted entering southern Arizona).
Real Leopards only exist in Africa.
And India. Look up Jim Corbett.
I guess he got his money’s worth.
Read the article. Nowhere does it say the cat was a native American species. The man who advertised the “close encounter” had a license to possess the animal which the FWC states is a Black Leopard. Whether the animal was bred here or imported I don’t know. But it was not a Florida Panther.
I knew a local woman who had two of those things. Her and her boyfriend procured deceased chickens from a local egg farm to feed them. I provided a forklift to load their cage onto a trailer to move it. Those cats were NOT friendly. A person would have to be a complete idiot to even think about getting in the cage with them. Don’t know what they ever did with them.
Im an engineer so I had to look up anthropomorphize to see what the definition was. Thx. Never used that word before. Good word. Lol.
Read a book written by a burglar. He was describing a job in a house where some other non-law abiding person was living. He was going about his planned activities in the dark when he looked up the open stairway and all he saw was two eyes looking at him. The spacing was likely as shown in your picture.
Don’t remember the details, but he did not finish whatever he came for.
My daughter has a bad tempered cat. He hisses and snarls at most anyone that comes near him. He’s just a little guy and can’t really hurt anyone - wouldn’t want to be anywhere near the full size version.
On the other hand, he now has the option this Halloween of either being George Armstrong Custer or Vincent van Gogh.
LOL!
Black guy: "You want more?"
Scorpio: "Every pennies worth you black S.O.B!"
Florida man strikes again!
Florida Man theme needs to be playing ! (Same theme as the 1960s Batman theme!)
On occasions I rough house with my cat. I’m glad I’m 10 times larger. If he was closer to my size I would probably be in the liter box.
Some words are used by some people to sound intelligent, I’ve done it too.
But I appreciate it when a single word is the perfect fit for the use of communicating an entire concept in that word such as “anthropomorphize”.
I just used a word recently that I like in that same way: manichean...in the use of a stark, binary choice. It somehow conveys that for me.
Well, I am thinking that he got his money’s worth.
