Newt Gingrich said the left is going to be shocked by a Trump victory and said an electoral map showing the incumbent president with 326 electoral votes seems right to him in an interview Wednesday night with FNC's Sean Hannity.
"He has a better likelihood than he did at this stage in 2016 when he was clearly behind and closing rapidly," Gingrich said. "The people I trust the most, the pollsters that have been the most accurate over the last 5 or 6 years who seem to understand the dynamics of the age of Trump."
"I saw today the first electoral college map that made sense to me and it showed Trump at 326 electoral votes plus," Gingrich said. "I think that is probably about right. I think the left is going to be terribly shocked."

I think it’s different in that there were more people who actually wanted to vote for Hillary, as strange as that may seem. Nobody wants to vote for Joe or Kamala.
it also doesn’t include the huge percentage of democrat voters that will vote republican.

That still wouldn’t get to 326 (.... but MN, OH, IA, MI, PA, AZ, NV, FL, GA, NC, the one district in ME (assuming Biden takes the one in NE) and NM gets you to exactly 326. The way you had it gets to, I believe 323.

I disagree. We need all the votes we can get. McSally and Collins are also going down, with only the AL Senate seat as the leaning R flip. Further, McConnell has done a stellar job with judge confirmations. We need him, especially.
every single rally Trump holds has a minimum of 35% NON Republicans. You think people attend political rallies and then don’t vote? He’ll get north of 20% of the black vote. A huge % of hispanic.
