An NBCLX analysis of early voting reports through Oct. 27 indicates only 13% of voting-age Americans under the age of 30 have cast ballots so far, and only 19% of those between the ages of 30 and 39. Comparatively, approximately 47% of all Americans 65 and older have cast ballots with a full week of voting left to go.

with many campuses closed / virtual, GOTV efforts must certainly be hampered.......which is fine by me.

The low numbers may be record numbers for that age group.
Do they not teach that in civics class? I remember the teacher bringing in one of the card punch voting booths for us to learn to use and those who turned 18 during the year even got some extra credit points to register to vote.
I also remember then Representative (now Governor) DeWine visiting the class.
I’m over 65 and most of the people I know that are my peers are not afraid of this at all. They consider the whole thing to be baloney.
