An NBCLX analysis of early voting reports through Oct. 27 indicates only 13% of voting-age Americans under the age of 30 have cast ballots so far, and only 19% of those between the ages of 30 and 39. Comparatively, approximately 47% of all Americans 65 and older have cast ballots with a full week of voting left to go.

I’m not sure this is great news, although I’d rather have 65+ voters over the under 30 crowd. But judging by most polls those are the two groups most likely to vote Biden. It’s the 30-64 crowd that is heavily supporting Trump.

I called BS on that story. Here in Northern Nevada the poll watchers are reporting 30-49 well represented, 50+ very well represented. This is not scientific but comes from poll watchers that have been doing it for years.

Every single analysis of actual votes so far has young people voting in record low numbers.
I don't know any young people who are going ape over Slow Joe. They may not vote for Trump, but they sure are not turning out for Biden either.

And the black voter turn out is very low in NC and Florida as well.
Biden is going to get the lowest black vote for a Democrat in recent times. Low energy Joe just can't inspire anybody.

It turns out that without communal college get out the vote campaigns where they all go en masse to the polls (to vote Democrat of course), younger people are really hard to get to go vote.

It also turns out they have little enthusiasm for a 77 year old who has been in politics for as long as some of their parents have been alive and who is obviously suffering from dementia. Go figure.
