My father was almost a lifelong Washingtonian and a great baseball fan. At the end of his life his favorite ball player was Frank Howard. (As a kid in the 1920s, he had named his pet collie ‘Bucky Harris’)
Howard was a massive, imposing guy.
I remember Howard’s deodorant ad, “ When you are 6-8 and 300 lbs you sweat alot” LOL
