"Establishment Republicanism" is the very definition of modern liberalism. Any Republican who would prefer the the unabashed socialism of today's Democrat presidential candidate over the proven conservatism of President Trump is indeed a liberal whether or not they choose to admit it. The line between the two ideologies of conservatism and liberalism has never been clearer, and the Never-Trumpers have chosen to support the leftists while 94% of Republicans support the President. They may call themselves Republicans, but they will never be welcome in the Republican Party again. We now know that they were liberals all along, traitorous enemies from within who undermined conservatism from the inside. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

In 2016, polls were off because of “shy” Trump voters who were being mocked and called deplorables. In 2020, IMO, polls are off by even more because of “fearful” Trump voters. A week or two ago a police chief got fired because HIS WIFE posted pro-Trump stuff on Facebook. The nuns at Trump’s rally a few days ago were doxxed. I’m not going to tell some stranger who I’m voting for.

im in Detroit...Wayne County...democrats win or lose elections depending on turn out here. I see zero enthusiasm for Biden ,seen maybe 3 yard signs. I voted last week, and i was the only one there. Biden has carpet bombed the state with ads...but Trump enthusiasm is thru the roof...in 2008 and 2012, Obama yard signs were EVERYWHERE...they were re naming gas stations after him. That is ancient history..in another bad sign for Biden, U.A.W. rank and file are totally split between Trump and Biden...John James def has a solid chance to beat Peters...based on John James, Trump wins Michigan again.
Not pearl clutching. Watch zero MSM, including Fox NEWS. Watched presidents rally in Michigan yesterday and was very encouraged. Then I saw Tom Bevan of RCP on the Ingraham Angle. Which prompted me to the RCP and Michigan. Most polls there suck for Trump.
I thought I saw a pole from ZIA/Painter Communications Poll that had a sample size of almost 2900 likely voters that showed Trump up in Michigan.

Agreed. Averaging is a worthless way of data analysis because of the well known effect of outliers on such a data point.

One possible upside is that the lethargy of Biden supporters when it comes to getting out for his “rallies” is likely to carry over to election day trips to the polls.
RCP polling average is, by definition, a trailing indicator. It averages data from the past, so it can be days, if not weeks, behind any trends. I have NEVER found anyone who supports Governor Whitless, yet some polls have her above President Trump in approval by 60 to 40. That’s obviously fake news. Don’t believe ANY polling data from here in Michigan.
Anecdotes from Michigan (I’m not a resident of Michigan, but I’m near Detroit for work).
I Spoke with 3 Michiganders...
One guy is from northern MI (Gaylord): Thinks the Trump vote is NOT as strong as in 2016. He is not politically active; this is his general sense.
Two people from southern MI near Detroit (St. Clair): Think the Trump vote is WAY stronger than in 2016. They said in 2016, many sat-out or held their nose to vote for Trump. Now voters KNOW Trump has a Conservative record, & they are excited to vote Trump. These two guys are Union Workers and Former Democrats. That’s also their circle of friends. These two guys are politically active, and they’ve done door-knocking.
I also did a flag-waving on Sunday in a county that was 62.9% Trump, 31.5% Cankles (Hillary) in 2016.
At the flag-waving, we estimated 60-70% of cars honked/waved, gave thumbs-up, yelled support, etc. One couple driving by went and bought coffee for all of us. One guy stopped and gave me money. We had people in Company vehicles giving us honks/thumbs up. Police & Border Patrol gave us thumbs up or waves. Semi Truck drivers honked. Etc.
Let’s ring the alert for FR’s pearl-clutchers to run over to this thread and wring their hands. (Soros trolls are also invited.)

Which was within the MOE. PDJT just squeaked in a win in Michigan back in 2016. According to several polls now, Biden’s lead is outside the MOE.
