There are but it’s very small compared to some states.
Actually “Huston” is close to the proper way locals to pronounce the cities name. Having grown up in Katy in the 70s n 80s when people were still multi generational locals not imports like now. It’s pronounced HHhuuussstoonn drawn heavy on the HU then the Ssss then ton like a ton of bricks.
Harris is quite the anchor for Biden as his campaign gasps for air.
While they may say they want to ban fracing which I’m not sure they can, their only control is over federal land. They have no authority over state and private property. Any attempt at that will end up in the supreme court and we know what just happen there. The EPA report gave fracing a clean bill of health as it should have so they don’t really have a leg to stand on. I suspect the supreme court will be very busy for the next 4 years.
The oil industry in Texas isn’t nearly as large as some folk think. It’s actually a fairly small part of the population that is directly engaged in either the drilling or refining side of it.
However, it has a huge economic impact from a revenue standpoint. I think a decent amount of the citizens recognize that. Also, I think most Texans are a pragmatic lot (excepting the loonies in Austin), who realize that plastic is ubiquitous, and it’s uses touch every part of our lives, in ways that we don’t often think about.
Finally, though they say that California had a love affair with the automobile, you just really can’t live in Texas without them. There are 740 miles between Shreveport to El Paso.
There were polls a couple of days ago that said Texas was in play for the democrats and Georgia was slipping away from the republicans. I think GA may be lost from what I’ve heard, and that’s disaster for Trump.
Do you see Trump campaigning in Georgia? I didn’t think so.
Texas is a HUGE land mass cant imagine living in Texas with out a car or a HUGE TRUCK!!
“They have no authority over state and private property.”
They will certainly find a supposed applicable law, such as pollution, environmental hazard, etc. I have seen all the videos of them saying they would ban fracking, and only once were Federal lands specified.
I’m not saying they won’t try.
...why are they in TX and GA?...

I have seen that video that is why I am concerned and also the already large number of ballots already cast in Harris County plus the totals are not matching up.
This was nested under Patrick Howleys post about the fraud he found:

How many acres under the BLM?
Some of that land is under BLM. I know there is some BLM land around Travis and Hays Counties. The vast majority falls under the Park Service with the national parks in West Texas and Forest Service with the national forest in East Texas.
Good point. I don’t think any dimrat knows what fracking is at all. They have been told that it is bad and they have to be against it.
“IT WAS A DEBATE”.....Meaning she was caught lying,,,and her excuse was “IT WAS A DEBATE”...and she laughed about it.
Since Texas was a country before joining the Union there is no BLM land in Texas. I learned that in Texas history in the 7th grade. Check their website.
