With All Due Respect, the Most Important Election of our Lifetime was 12 years ago.

The current slogan is “the most important election of our lifetime” is the 2020 election. I disagree. Without the massive systemic damage inflicted under Obama, with his race-war narrative and hyper-socialist policy impositions which seem all but undoable now, we wouldn’t be in the mess we find ourselves today.

Obama was in the convenient position to appoint 2 radical leftist Supreme Court justices and hundreds of federal inferior court judges. (https://www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/07/15/how-trump-compares-with-other-recent-presidents-in-appointing-federal-judges/), one of the highest number by any president. These judges had free reign to do Obama’s bidding unhindered. Even discounting Roberts as a throwaway vote, his two Supreme Court hacks pushed the defense of Obamacare over the top, as if Obamacare would have even been an issue if he had not been elected.

And the damage has lived after him, as numerous court decisions since Obama have stripped the proper, constitutional power of protecting our borders away from the sitting president in unprecedented ways.

No, Obama was the supreme damage. What we are seeing today is just the fallout.

McCain is as bad as Obama as I see it.

He singlehandedly saved ObamaCare when his vote would have killed it once and for all. That was a huge betrayal to our nation and makes him no better than Obama in my book.

Obama had never run anything in his life and could not run a hot dog stand without losing money. Obama was a street thug community organizer from southside ghetto in Chicago. He lied his way to white house by promising if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor etc.

I think you just made my point for me.

The two greatest enemies of radical Islam were the Shah of Iran and Saddam Hussein. Jimmy Carter did the Islamists a favor by removing the Shah. And then George W. Bush did the Islamists a favor by removing Saddam.

But W also destabilized the entire region. And one result of that is the Islamic invasion of Europe.

I cannot see how Al Gore could have done any worse.

Dumbya’s approval rating was in the toilet during the 2008 election.

That’s why I’m glad all the Bushies are supporting Biden, losers supporting losers.

I don’t agree. The last election was the most important of any of our lives. THREE Supreme Court vacancies ended up being at stake. We would have had a far-left Supreme Court for a generation if Hillary had been elected.

Jimmy Carter led to Ronald Regan.
Much of Obama has been undone and what remains will be undone. Every generation must relearn what freedom means.

Our most important elections were 160 years ago and 88 years ago. Maybe 60 or 56 years ago. Besides those 12 years ago wasn’t much.

2016 was the most important election of your life so far. 2020 will be the most important election in your life so far. 2024 will also be the most important election in your life so far. Once Trump leaves office we’ll just be back to the same place of a far left loony on the precipice of getting in and irreversibly ‘remaking’ society. We need more than just rolling the dice and hoping to prevent a libtard from getting into office every 4 years. We need a fundamental shift.

So why did GOP nominate an old, short, pudgy, low energy, maverick who had no executive experience, crashed several planes, graduated near bottom of his class in military academy?

No. Everything was emerging at that time. Now we have Big Tech in 2020. The Left has taken over the Democratic Party. Those factors were not really in place in ‘08. My opinion.

Do you not understand that Obama enabled all that to develop?

Bush? Have you forgotten Jimmah Carter?

"With All Due Respect, the Most Important Election of our Lifetime was 12 years ago."

Since we don't have a time machine to go back 12 years, this is a waste of time just before the most important election since we don't have a time machine to go back in history.

Who will you be voting for if you vote?

Don’t be so sure that the upcoming Supreme Court is a lock on conservative, originalist opinions. Gorsuch is a traitor. He just put pretend “women” in every restroom and on women’s sports teams in every high school and college in the nation. That’s about a radical left as you can get. Roberts is a proven leftist pawn.

It will take one more leftist replacement after Barrett to have a comfortably conservative majority. The most likely to retire next is Thomas. That will be a wash. We may be several years before a constitutional court is secure.

Indeed, the ineligible Obama did tremendous damage to the country. But right NOW we can do something to help repair some of that harm

or, we can choose to reinvigorate and make the damage much much worse (with a Harris/Pelousy or Harris/Bernie administration)

Take a peek at my post #43. Yes, Carter did great damage. But in my opinion he’s a genius compared to W. There are no poor souls laying in VA hospitals because of Carter. But there are thousands there because of Bush.

Iraq and Afghanistan will both eventually go the way of Vietnam. So it was all for nothing.
