President Trump followed through after tweeting that he will publish an unedited preview of his "60 Minutes" sitdown to show viewers that the interview was a vicious attempted takeout by correspondent Lesley Stahl when he posted a portion of the interview on Facebook Thursday.
I will soon be giving a first in television history full, unedited preview of the vicious attempted takeout interview of me by Lesley Stahl of @60Minutes, Trump wrote. Watch her constant interruptions & anger. Compare my full, flowing and magnificently brilliant answers to their Qs.
60 Minutes did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
A few hours later, Trump's Facebook page released the footage.

Reagan’s second term is where this all got started. Liberals were frustrated that Reagan’s team was “staging” the news. When he spoke, it was often from the Oval Office or other backdrops filled with American flags and other positive, nationalistic symbols.
Liberals hated that because tv viewers didn’t care what Sam Donaldson said about Reagan. Their subconscious was that Reagan looked positive and upbeat while surrounded by flags or cheering masses.
Liberals detested Reagan reaching over them with positive messages that offset their negativity. Yet they were restrained by their needs to be “fair” and to present both sides of the argument.
Thus a new term and attitude began. It was called “advocacy journalism”. They didn’t show both sides because they only saw one side to be legitimate. Therefore, news about homelessness only reflected the view of homeless advocates. News about AIDS reflected only the view of homosexual advocates. News about abortion reflected only the view of pro-abortion advocates, etc.
When Clinton spouted his rubbish on the campaign trail of Bush’s economy as “the worst in 50 years”, there was no effort to balance this or even ask him to verify it. The comment was just accepted as truth in the media.
Over the past 30 years, any pretense of fairness has fallen by the wayside. Fox News, as it began, was trying to be fair but now they’re as bad as the others.
Folks like Walter Cronkite were just as liberal in their time as Rachel Maddow is today. The difference was they saw their profession as one of reporting facts and events, not preening themselves as advocates of a certain viewpoint.
It really was a barrage of attack questions, something Biden would never be treated to. And Biden has been around for a long time and has a track record which could easily be questioned. It’s quite frustrating that Trump is never asked about foreign policy or his other many successes. Everything has to have a negative spin to it.

Yeah it’s an older pic but Scott is still going - 60 Minutes?
