I never much cared for Aikman even before this.

It is a waste of money.

Especially, why does the “woke” NFL deserve the free, taxpayer-funded honor of a flyover?? Free, $billion stadiums paid for by taxpayers isn’t enough?

Screw ‘em

Troy Aikman? Did he play basketball with Muhammad Kareem Namath? I got a fuzzy memory about all that ball stuff.

Somebody mentioned punishment.

Why would they be punished? All they did was reveal that they are in the tank for Traitor Joe and Roundheels.

He’s entitled to his political opinion.

He didn’t mean for this to be broadcast to everyone.

That said,

It shows he’s not very smart.

He’s right. A flyover over an empty stadium? Total waste of money. And lets face it... flyovers are just a recruiting tool. I’m really not a fan of rolling out the military at every sporting event as a prop (and yes, i’m ex-military). Most vets I know just roll their eyes at all the theater.

I’ve always despised the Cowboys, but have always had respect for men like Roger Staubach and Tom Landry. It has gotten worse, much worse since that era.

On 2nd thought why should we fly over an empty stadium for the NFL players many who kneel and diss the National Anthem? We could be misreading Troy Aikman on his intentions. Don’t fly our honorable military over the dishonorable NFL. Works for me.

No word from Buck on this. For a guy whose dad helped take the Ludendorf Bridge at Remagen, Joe showed and is showing a remarkable lack of understanding or appreciation.

Troy Aikman, when in a hole, stop digging!

These idiots keep giving us reasons to stop watching all football! It seems that they will NEVER learn their lesson.

“That stuff ain’t happening with [a] Kamala-Biden ticket,” Aikman shot back. “I’ll tell you that right now, partner.”

Punk.

I don’t think this was that big of a deal. A lot of people think these flyovers are a waste of money until you explain to them that the flights are used for training hours and they don’t really cost taxpayers anything.

As to the Kamala-Biden ticket comment, is it clear that he was saying this in support of the Democrats or as kind of a back-handed slap at them?

Someone should ask him to explain why it wouldn’t happen in a Kamala-Biden administration. He should also be asked, since he claims to love this country, if it was proper (not if they should have the right) to take a knee or sit for the National Anthem.

His response is phony.

Shortly after the moment went viral, Aikman released a statement clarifying his conversation with Buck and how he felt about military flyovers in general.

“I love a flyover but It was odd to see one over a mostly empty stadium,” he tweeted out. “But I am an unwavering patriot that loves this country, has always respected our flag, supported the men and women in the armed forces as well as those in uniform who serve & protect and for anyone to suggest otherwise doesn’t know me, my beliefs or what I have stood for my entire life.”

Definitely a lib. Repubs apologize, Dems throw a hissy fit, thinking they’re privileged...
