(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion or satire. Or both.)

It sounded like sucky music.

Ratt wears mascara. By brother’s club band opened for them on night, and he said they were dicks and prima donnas.

>>helped diversify metal’s appeal beyond its core audience with its blend of hip-hop swagger, screaming, irresistible pop hooks and circuit-bending.
Link Wray, American Indian
Rob Halford, Gay leatherboy
“diversity” for the sake of “diversity” sucks. Go out and rock and if you have it in you. Others have.

Linkin Park started out ok but they turned into a crappy commercial music band.
Happens to most bands. Especially the front man who end up so full of themselves. Like Shinoda.

Linkin Park? Ha! What garbage.

I liked RATT. I saw them 4-5 times live. Music isn’t always about the most talented or best lyricist. Sometimes it is just a fun night out. Back for More and Dance were two such songs.

Is this a racist rant against people who can grow long straight hair?
Where are all the Afro bands? What do they have to say about it?

Ratt now plays for insurance commercials (Ratt Problem in the kitchen).
Kind of like when REO Speed Wagon played for a Wal-Mart opening years ago.

I figured you would make sense of this (with Shinoda and Fort Minor connections):

I like both RATT and Linkin Park. The difference is that 80s hair metal bands tend to be conservative today, and the rock bands that came after them are angst-ridden posers. That being said, here's a great Donald Trump ad based on a Linkin Park song:

"I listened to 90% rap music, then I'd look at a lot of rock bands and I'd be like, 'There's something too white [about it],'" he continued. "That was one of the things that turned me off, especially hair metal. Hair metal felt like very white music, and I was growing up in a very diverse city, so I didn't gravitate to it. That didn't resonate with me..."
He's not wrong. Blacks overwhelmingly listen to/create very few music genres: rap, hip-hop, and older folks alot more blues/RnB/jazz. Whites tend to split everywhere, country, rock, metal, rap, classical, etc etc etc. Maybe a few black artists here and there, but not very many.
