In all fairness. it was a short season, we never really went through the rituals of baseball season.

I'm done with sports, but I think the fake short season has a lot to do with the low ratings. I was not interested when I heard they were doing it. When they went full BLM for the opening, I skipped the whole "season".

The 1st Month of the season ratings were up, then they started with the BLM crap and rating quickly plummeted after that.
