Out of 2,726,887 currently infected patients in the U.S., 2,711,522 are considered "Mild Condition." That is 99.44%
Worldwide there are 9,153,428 currently infected patients, of which 9,080,834 are considered "Mild Condition." That is 99.21%.
The numbers of non-mild cases may be inflated for political reasons.
Butt butt butt.....death sentence. WTH?

That little PIAPS-loving, commie-loving, weasel right there should be arrested, tried and then sentenced to do a public rope dance for mass murder and crimes against humanity. Both him and Scarf.
Me and my family came down with it, and like the article, we had mild symptoms.

How are we doing with ventilators..
???
It is the fact that this is an odd disease. It is not a nothingburger. I see only those who are critically ill with it and it is horrifying. I know that I see only a subpopulation, but it is impressive as to its difficulty to treat and its protracted course that usually ends bad once you cross a certain clinical point.
What makes me sick are the idiots out there saying no vaccine is necessary because its nothing. If you are one of the person who loses the genetic lottery on this thing you absolutely would want a vaccine.
The other thing that gets me riled up is people failing to understand the difference between individual and population health. Vaccine is about population health and accelerated herd immunity so the virus does not take hold in the wild. You vaccinate not for the individual although he or she benefits by not getting sick, you vaccinate for the overall population.
About like every other disease -> 35 - 40% mortality if ARDS on a vent
Yeah?
Trump is 73 and he came through it like a rocket. If anything, he looks and acts better, fitter and stronger than he was before covid.
Very young and healthy people have virtually close to zero chance of suffering serious symptoms or dying from it.
What does a case with no symptoms mean? Does it mean they were exposed to it and their test came back positive because their immune system produced antibodies? Or does it mean they can transmit it to others even though they are perfectly healthy? If a vaccine is developed wouldnt it act like other vaccines and expose the immune system to the disease so the body produces antibodies? And if that were the case wouldnt everybody who received the vaccination test positive?
When I was child (over 60 years ago) and my parents heard that one of my friends got the chicken pox, they would suggest I go over to his house so that I would catch it and become immune for the rest of my life (not withstanding shingles).
You are trying to interpret incomplete data. The only data most states and countries report is positive tests and deaths. You realize the same site lists the fatality rate for the USA at 2.7%? Yes, most cases are fairly mild, but clearly nowhere near 99.44%. Unless you consider being “extremely sick but hey, I survived” to be mild.
MSM: TRUMP LET 00.56% HAVE SEVERE CASES OF COVID-19.
PELOSI: TRUMP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL 99.44% OF MILD CASES AND MUST BE IMPEACHED.
SCHIFF: THIS PROVES RUSSIAN COLLUSION
Make that 10... The wife and I both had it back in May. Nothing worse than the regular flu. And, we’re both near 60.
As of six weeks ago, there are five strains of CoV-19 in global circulation.
There is the original Wuhan strain, plus four more mutations.
Some of them are definitely more deadly than others.
However, they are NOT always more deadly in ALL locations.
Why?
Quality of health care and draconian lock downs are two reason.
A third reason is the high probability that different populations may have partial or even high immunity based on previous exposure to common cold corona viruses (about five common cold corona strains, too).
And that worship of that God of yours too!
I am about 21,940 days old and my wife is about 16,550 days old and we both had it in February before it was a political weapon, mine was a mild head cold for about 4 days, but my wife was sick as a dog and had trouble breathing for a week.
my daughter works in the emergency room and gave it to all of us, she got it from her friend that works in a different hospital
Sounds much more likely to be the flu, from my experience.
