Jackie Gleason - (Family sized, lol) Pabst Blue Ribbon 1949
Wow! In 1949 Harry Von Zell was much larger than Jackie Gleason.

I think the OP means MARTIN Sheen, who promotes SingleCare, a way to cut drug costs. (Similar to GoodRx.)

I remember Jane Russell pitching bras and girdles while my grandmother was watching “her stories”. Jane was sort of the ideal pitchwoman for a heavy-duty bra.

Yep. That’s the way I remember it.

TV commercials can be fun, like Skittles and Carmax commercials. Tom Selleck’s “This isn’t my first rodeo” ad is not fun. Joe Dimaggio sold Mr. Coffee to pay for his debts. It’s good to see Bob Eubanks again while selling exercise equipment. He hosted the Rose Parade for many years. Fiat: https://youtu.be/luoCTL6uIs8

Barbara Eden might have been the most smokin’ hot 40-something in American history. There are pictures of her from that time with Bob Hope on USO tours that will make your tongue hit the floor.
Still with us at age89.

Before Barbara Eden was a blonde, she was a redhead in "Ride the Wild Surf" with a smokin' hot blonde, Shelly Fabares.
The title song was, IMO, Jan & Dean's best record.

The lonely repairman in the Maytag commercials was the actor Jesse White (1917-1997), who appeared in many movies and TV shows, including a part as a hospital orderly in the movie Harvey.

I don’t think they are hawking any products, but I’m just impressed that Rhonda Fleming, and Arlene Dahl are still alive.
To: OttawaFreeper
She sort of resembles Reba....especially with the red hair phase.

Wanna see how low a movie actor can stoop? Look up the Thunderbird wine commercial featuring James Mason. "I like the unusual flavor", "Suitable for any occasion", etc. It makes Orson Welles' "We sell no wine before its time" (probably around 3:30 in the afternoon) schtick for Earnest and Julio Gallo look like Henry V and took a real actor to keep a straight face to the end.

I’ve seen episodes of Andy Griffith Show and Beverly Hillbillies, where the stars hawked products. I think Ebsen was endorsing Corn Flakes.

Marilyn Monroe made one TV commercial. It was for Union Oil’s Royal Triton motor oil. That was quite a coup for the Los Aneles based oil company.
