Hello Freepers. Mrs. R2 and I are traveling and I’m currently Freeping at you from Mena AR. I was trying to explain to my wife last night the significance of Mena in relation to the Clinton Family Crime Foundation activities from so many years ago. But I couldn’t remember all the details.
I seem to remember the Mena airport was a focal point for criminal activities but I couldn’t exactly recall the details. It’s been many years since the Clintons and Mena were infamous.

I was in Mena once. I went to the airport. There were several airliners parked there. One of Mena’s industries is reupholstering airlines, so they have a long runway. Perfect for running guns to the contras. Also, overlooking the town is a Frank Loyd Wright house.
I believe it is a Republican city.

The Clinton Chronicles is still up on youtube. Just checked it. It runs about 1 hour and 43 minutes. I purchased a VCR tape of it when it came out. Lots of bad stuff was happening in Arkansas while Billy Jeff was governor.
At the time, it was discounted as a tin foil hat conspiracy by the dims and their media.

Thanks. I’m also reading of some solid Bush connections with this airport and drug smuggling. Knowing now what we do about the close relationships between the Clintons and the Bushes, this would not surprise me at all.
Mena is the North anchor of the Talimina drive. An old restaurant had a chicken fried steak big as a hubcap.
