I never thought it made sense to say a pale green horse though-so much better to say a pale horse. Ha.

Greeneyes; That is correct. The word is Chloros, pale green. (We also get the word chlorophyll from it as well.) In this case it is not a wholesome green, but a color associated with decaying flesh.
