Scientists expand their knowledge, learn more, change their opinions about certain facts. That’s just how it’s done.

If you encounter anything labeled “settled science” or if you ask a question and get shouted down as a “science denier” then you can be sure that the topic under discussion isn’t science at all — it’s just political science. Which is mostly lies based on nothing.

So instead of being horrifyingly large, it's just monstrously large. Yeah, real bummer lol. This star dwarfs our sun and there's a small chance we will get to see it supernova in our lifetimes.

So we are still waiting for the remainder of the sequence after Helium; carbon burning, oxygen burning and silicon burning. With this news, I’m guessing that there will be no gold in that there rubble when it does go boing!
