Maybe he did make multiple copies and distribute them. Just giving one copy to Rudy has had a very different effect from giving it to the FBI alone where it could be hidden or destroyed.
I thought there was some illegal content on the hard drive, otherwise why would he give it to the FBI.. As a tech guy, if you come across illegal content - child porn for example- you are required to turn it over to the FBI.

Silly me thinks that whatever is on that laptop, if brought to the light of day would cause a world war.
Part of me thinks that is what’s driving the democrat’s desperation and antics. There is a lot of ‘favors’ hidden on that laptop. And when ‘favors’ aren’t returned...bad stuff happens. Which if one follows that accusation that Trump is a national security risk, it would follow that the real threat is the Bidens, Hillary, Obama, and Pelosi failing to return those national favors. Ukraine, Russia, China...a blackmail story so big...no one would believe it.
