I don't believe this was posted previously, forgive if it actually had been. For those who like the classic era of game shows from the 1950s thru 1990s. I remember Tom as the host of the 1985 nighttime version of The Price is Right. His passing was a few days before the 35th anniversary of Johnny Olson's.

He was kind of a Dick Clark type.
I cant imagine him looking like a 70 year old, let alone 93.

He was a fine host, the kind of host who almost never outshines his contestants.
Thomas Bergeron was the same way on America’s Funniest Videos. Always pleasant, without indulging in dirty humor, i.e. Steve Harvey. Always making an effort to showcase the guests in their best light.

Also, Jack Narz, another iconic game show host, was his brother.

And to think today Allen Ludden and Gene Rayburn would both be 103, Richard Dawson 88 (next month), Bert Convy 87, Bill Cullen 100, and Monty Hall 99.
Believe Wink Martindale is still around and kicking.

Didn’t he have a show where the winner was handed a car key with 5 cars on stage?
If it worked you got the car.

I have very vivid memories of You Don’t Say - on in the afternoons right before the Match Game. This would have been mid-60’s before the Match Game went a bit risque.
The opening montage included the catch phrase, “Remember, it’s not what you say that counts, it’s WHAT YOU DON’T SAY!”
I don’t remember any of the particulars of the game itself but remember it was an okay show (at least not a SOAP OPERA) and I really liked the Match Game so it was a good lead in for that.
